Role Summary: POI Data Research and Extraction Analyst

The core function of this role is to act as a data quality and research specialist for information related to businesses and geographical locations (Points of Interest). The Analyst will extract, evaluate, and categorize detailed information on Activities, Events, and Topics associated with these POIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Secondary Research: Conduct thorough research, primarily using the Google platform and other resources, to find information on activities and events for a given business or POI.

  • Data Extraction & Analysis: Extract relevant information by reading user reviews, and referring to images and videos associated with a location.

  • Evaluation and Categorization: Evaluate the gathered activities and events, and categorize them into specific buckets based on provided policy guidelines.

  • Quality & Relevance Check: Identify relevant vs. irrelevant information used for comparing and rating a place, such as business category, reviews, and queries.

  • Process Management: Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within the defined daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics (SLA/TAT).

  • Independent Work: The employee is expected to work independently and take ownership of their performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: The role is open to Freshers up to 36 months of experience. Preference is given to experience in research, creative writing, or local review fields.

  • Qualification: Any Graduate (Bachelor's Degree).

  • Mandatory Competencies:

    • Excellent English Communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong English Comprehension with Logical Ability and Data Interpretation.

    • Ability to read, comprehend, and establish context from content.

  • Research Focus: Must have good Research skills with the ability to identify credible sources and summarize complex information clearly.

  • General Awareness: Should have awareness of consumer domains like food & beverages, restaurants, leisure activities, lifestyle, and entertainment.

  • Other Skills: Attention to detail and accuracy, proficiency with computers and MS Office / equivalent platforms.

  • Work Timings: Candidates must be able to work in different shifts and locales depending on business requirements.
