The Electrical Engineer at Everllence will be a key player in the detailed engineering and project execution for propulsion, decarbonization, and efficiency solutions. This role is highly technical, involving the application of international design codes and standards to critical electrical components.


Key Responsibilities

This position requires a 4-5 year experienced Electrical Engineer to handle the entire lifecycle of electrical component specification and integration within major projects. Your primary tasks will include:

  • Detailed Engineering: Focusing on components like motors (synchronous and asynchronous), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), transformers, generators, and medium-voltage switchgear.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Interpreting client specifications, layouts, and international/national design codes (e.g., ANSI, IEC, IS, API, European standards).

  • Collaboration & Clarification: Serving as a technical point of contact to clarify electrical interfaces and requirements with customers, suppliers, and internal teams (including system engineering, rotor dynamics, and controls).

  • Procurement Support: Selecting proper materials, preparing Specifications, and generating Bills of Material using ERP software.

  • System Evaluation: Evaluating the electrical characteristics of power generation systems and power plants, including communication with manufacturers, operators, and grid operators regarding Electricity Grid codes.

  • Project Management: Participating in project meetings and managing aspects related to deadlines, costs, and quality.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering

  • Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience.

  • Technical Skills (Must-Have): Expertise in the design and application of synchronous and asynchronous motors, frequency converters, transformers, coolers, and switchgear in the medium voltage range. Knowledge of explosion protection and engine instrumentation is also required.

  • Standards Knowledge: Basic to good knowledge of IEC standards.

  • Language: Very good knowledge of English (business fluent).

  • Project Skills: Proven experience in tracking project deadlines, costs, and quality.
