The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), established in 2008 and ranked among the top engineering institutes in India, invites applications from exceptionally bright and motivated candidates for faculty positions at all levels — Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. Applications are open to Indian nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), and foreign nationals (on contract basis).
IITH is a rapidly growing institution with over 5,750 students, 330+ faculty members, and a strong record of research excellence, including 12,220+ publications, 580+ patents, and 320+ startups. Faculty positions are available in the departments of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mathematics. IITH encourages interdisciplinary research, and faculty may be affiliated with up to two additional departments based on research interests. Candidates with outstanding research records, publications in top-tier journals, patents, and leadership experience are especially encouraged to apply.
